Counselling Services In-Person & Online In Anglesey
About me
Hi, I’m Keira Jones, founder of Cymer5. I’m proud to have been born and raised on the beautiful island of Anglesey, and I’m fluent in Welsh.

My journey into mental health began during my time as a mental health nurse in the Royal Navy, where I had the privilege of supporting service personnel across the globe. I later served as a Senior Lead Health and Wellbeing Practitioner — a role that took me around the world and deepened my passion for making a meaningful impact.

Over the years, my contributions have been recognised through several awards and service medals, reflecting both my commitment to care and my unique approach to mental health.

After seven years of military service, I returned home to Anglesey, driven by a strong desire to give back to my community. I’m currently training as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist at Bangor University, further developing my skills to offer effective, evidence-based support.

Due to the long waiting lists within the NHS, I recognised the urgent need for timely mental health support. This inspired me to create Cymera — a service designed to offer quick, accessible, and compassionate therapy to those who need it most.

What makes Cymer5 different
My passion for mental health comes not only from my academic background but also from personal experience. Having faced depression and anxiety myself, I truly understand what my clients may be going through. This combination of lived experience and professional knowledge allows me to offer empathy and insight in a practical and meaningful way.
