All about us
The full story
Cymer 5 works by understanding what challenges are causing your daily struggles, then working towards enabling you to manage these challenges individually. We use therapeutic interventions to enable individuals to independently overcome the challenges they face. By understanding the problem, we can help you work towards a solution. Cymer 5 teaches you skills that can make you resilient, have the ability to manage daily stressors, to be brave and say 'it's ok to feel this way.'
My name is Keira Jones and I'm the founder of Cymer 5. Born and raised on Anglesey, I am fluent Welsh.
My job as a Royal Navy mental health nurse and senior lead health and wellbeing practitioner enabled me to travel the world while providing support to our service men and women. My unique approach to supporting clients has been recognised by many awards and medals. After 7 years, I decided to return back to Anglesey and provide my services to the local community.
What makes Cymer 5 different
My passion for what I do does not only come from studies and research, but from personal experience. For me, the opportunity to enable people to overcome mental health challenges through therapy has been a gift. With academic knowledge and first hand experience of depression and anxiety, I am truly able to understand what my clients may be experiencing.
I am a huge believer in prevention and detection. If we can give ourselves skills to prevent poor mental health, then we can become resilient enough to manage daily life. We brush our teeth each day to avoid a trip to the dentist. So why don't we do the same for our minds?

Why 'Cymer 5'?
Cymer 5 comes from the Welsh word 'Cymer' which means 'to take', and 5 as in five minutes. We've all experienced busy and stressful periods in our lives. During these times especially, but in day to day life too, it's important that we practice self care by taking 5 minutes to breathe, relax and reset our minds.
A safe non-judgemental space
